About Abbey's Coffee

A Frisco staple since 1996!

Suzie, Dave and AbbeyIn November 1996 Abbey the dog and her humans opened Abbey’s Coffee.  A passion for coffee, love of the mountains and all that Summit County has to offer is what inspired the opening of Abbey’s in Frisco. Then, a pairing with Silver Canyon Coffee, our roaster in Boulder, brought everything together.

Suzie and Dave are either in the store or out enjoying the fresh snow and the miles of cycling and hiking paths in the county.  We hope that you will enjoy all that Summit County has to offer and make it even better by stopping by for your favorite coffee drink, snack, ice cream or a burrito at Abbey’s.  Free WiFi sweetens the deal. And, although Abbey herself has been gone for years, her spirit lives on in Abbey’s in the story of her ashes being released on Cho Oyu in the Himalayas, and the doggie treats that are always available for all of Summit County’s four legged friends.

Frisco MarinaFor the winter adventurer, Abbey's Coffee, in the heart of Summit County, is located within minutes from Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain ski resorts, as well as right next door to the Frisco Adventure Park. Grab a coffee before you hit the hill! And, during the summer months, grab your morning essentials before casting off from the Frisco Bay Marina located directly across the street from us!

Sustainability

Abbey's Coffee is environmentally conscious. We care about the mountains and our landscape. Coffee paper cups are not recyclable and the world population goes through about half a trillion disposable cups each year. That's a problem that Abbey's coffee is conscious about. Reducing the number of coffee cups reaching the landfill is our goal. We offer reusable mugs and travel-mugs in-store and all our cups are made from recycled material.
