Whats up?! We are Shepherd and Silas Tharp. Though born in Utah, our family moved back to Summit County in 2014...the snow is way better here! Our Grandpa (Vince) owned and operated Alpine Veterinary Practice in Dillon for over 15 years! Our Dad (Mike) also grew up here and now pastors Rocky Mountain Bible Church, one block down the street from Abbey's Coffee! That makes us 3rd generation businessmen in Summit County! We are super excited to continue to make an impact in Summit County. We both worked at Abbey's throughout high school and loved working for Dave and Suzie who opened the shop back in 1996! We are stoked at this opportunity to take over ownership and operations and continue the legacy of Abbey's great coffee and community!
